Butterbeer, Chocolate frogs and Sapporo Miso Ramen.
The amazingly awesome ramen that I enjoyed when Gracie and her dad decided to tag me along to one of their food adventures!
So, yesterday was November 1st, not such a big deal for most of the Earth’s population but here in the Philippines its the day of the dearly departed. Usually, I go with my mom to the cemetery to visit my grandpa and aunt’s grave, spend the whole afternoon there munching on snacks and sharing how are yous with our relatives. Mom was feeling like crap yesterday due to flu so we passed on tradition this year, I decided to go with Gracie and her family instead. First, we went to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Shrine to light up candles and pay our respects, did a short prayer, not a daily thing for me nowadays. This shrines is one of the most solemn shrines I’ve ever visited. Probably just trumped by St. Agustin’s Cathedral by a bit, but St. Agustin’s is verging on creepy really. It’s too qiuet!
Anyways, after that we went to Robinson’s Magnolia and since Tito Hector was craving Ramen, he decided to treat us huge bowls of delicious ramens! *see picture above* Mine was Sapporo Miso Ramen. It had tons of toppings with included nori, cord, butter, eggs, and not one, but TWO naruto slices. We also ordered kaarage, yakiniku and gyoza all of which are as equally awesome as the ramen.
When we were about to go home, we decided to pass by the UCC Park Cafe for some sweets. They bought Chocolate Xanadu mini cakes for take away. We took a taxi home and I spent about an hour and half watching Elementary and How I met your mother with Gracie. Sorry totally forgot to take a picture of the cake because I was to preoccupied with stuffing my face with it. It was that delicious. XD
Changminnie's foodgasm face is the same as mine! :p
Thanks Gracie and Tito Hector for yet another great food adventure!
